Although population administration regulations have been implemented, there are still residents who have not been registered. This study aims to analyze the quality of public services at the Public Service Mall (MPP) in the Dukcapil sector in Dumai City. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with service users, focusing on aspects of comfort, efficiency, and officer interaction. The analysis uses the Parasuraman, Zeithaml, and Berry service quality framework (Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy). The results show that the condition of the facilities (eg toilets), long waiting times, and minimal empathy from officers indicate deficiencies in the aspects of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy. These findings are consistent with the provisions of Law No. 25 of 2009 and PermenPANRB No. 92 of 2021 which emphasize that public services must be fast, simple, transparent, non-discriminatory, professional, and supported by adequate facilities and human resources. It is concluded that improving infrastructure, employee competence, and implementing standard procedures are essential to improve quality and public satisfaction.
Dede Mirza, Natasyah Sakila, Sheefa Salsabila, nabila afifah hanan, Sarah Sriwandi, Dian Nayla Artika Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Mahasiswa Ilmu Adminstrasi https://ejournal.stia-lk-dumai.ac.id/index.php/jamin/article/view/362 Thu, 31 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0800 ANALYSIS OF FACTORS INFLUENCING STUDENTS' INTEREST IN BUYING THRIFT CLOTHING: CASE STUDY OF STIA LANCANG KUNING DUMAI STUDENTS https://ejournal.stia-lk-dumai.ac.id/index.php/jamin/article/view/317
This research seeks to examine how cultural, social, personal, and psychological elements affect the interest of students at STIA Lancang Kuning Dumai in buying second-hand clothing. A quantitative methodology was employed, utilizing a survey technique that involved distributing questionnaires to 100 students chosen through purposive sampling. The data gathered were analyzed using tests for multiple linear regression, classical assumptions, validity, and reliability. The findings reveal that both individually and collectively, the cultural, social, personal, and psychological aspects significantly impact students' interest in making purchases. The coefficient of determination, marked as R² at 58. 1%, shows that these four influences can account for the variability seen in students' purchasing interest, with the other 41. 9% being affected by unexamined factors. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of electronic archives has been carried out in accordance with Dumai Mayor Regulation Number 42 of 2022, covering aspects of policy formulation, coordination, supervision, technical guidance, and technology management. However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as limited devices, unstable networks, and insufficient staff competence. Overall, the adoption of electronic archives in Dumai is a strategic step toward more effective, efficient, and transparent public services, although technical reinforcement and capacity building are still required to achieve a modern and reliable archival management system.
Nurmala Sari, Fathiyya ramadhani, Irnawati fitriani, Mhd sandi fani arnanda, nur izati Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Mahasiswa Ilmu Adminstrasi https://ejournal.stia-lk-dumai.ac.id/index.php/jamin/article/view/368 Thu, 31 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Efektivitas Penggunaan Aplikasi SRIKANDI dalam Pengelolaan Arsip di Kantor Camat Dumai Barat Kota Dumai https://ejournal.stia-lk-dumai.ac.id/index.php/jamin/article/view/334
Effectiveness is a critical element in achieving organizational goals, including in archive
management.
