Focus and Scope
JAPaBIS (Jurnal Kebijakan dan Administrasi Publik) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal (free for readers), which publishes original theoretical and empirical work on public studies. JAPaBIS applies social science theories and concepts to significant political, economic and social issues and to the ways in which administration and public policies are made. Its articles deal with topics of concern to public policy scholars in America, Europe, Japan and other advanced industrial nations. The journal often publishes articles that cut across disciplines, such as environmental issues, international political economy, regulatory policy and European Union processes. Its peer reviewers come from up to a dozen social science disciplines and countries across three continents, thus ensuring both analytic rigour and accuracy in reference to national and policy context. JAPaBIS aims to advance and communicate knowledge concerning theory and practice both in public administration and public policy ; it encourages submissions that build on interdisciplinary research in related fields, such as business, economics, political science, gender studies, psychology, sociology, physiology, communication theory or artificial intelligence and their implications on Policy, administration in the society. JAPaBIS alos eiger to provide a rapid refereeing and editorial processes, following standard publication practices.
JAPaBIS publishes regular research articles, reviews and short notes. There is no restriction on the length of the papers as we encourage researchers to publish their theoretical and empirical results in as much detail as possible
